House facing inlet in Palm Beach brings $9 million, deed shows

Another house facing the inlet on the North End of Palm Beach has changed hands, this one at 1610 N. Ocean Blvd. The deed recorded today with a price of $9 million at the Palm Beach County Clerk’s office.

The Palm Beach Regency-style house was built in 1977 on an L-shaped lot that looks north down the channel between Singer Island and Peanut Island. The lot measures an eighth of an acre with about 128 feet of waterfront, according to property records.

The house was sold by a trust created by the will of the late Seymour Cohn. Paula C. Hallman, Marc S. Cohn, Charles Goldenberg and Mark Bosswick acted as trustees, the deed shows.

The buyer was a Florida limited liability company named DBSC LLC with an address listed on the deed in care of real estate attorney Maura Ziska’s West Palm Beach office.

With a long driveway leading to North Ocean Boulevard, the house has five bedrooms and about 6,038 square feet of living space, inside and out, property records show.

Broker Christian J. Angle of Christian Angle Real Estate had listed the house for sale in December at $10.9 million. Corcoran Group agent Suzanne Frisbie handled the buyer’s end of the deal, according to records in the Palm Beach Board of Realtors Multiple Listing Service.

Over the past few years, a number of homes have changed hands on and near the inlet, with several of those transactions involving Frisbie. The highest-dollar transaction there took place in February. She handled both sides of that off-market sale, recorded at $32 million, for an unfinished house at 225 Indian Road, two houses east of the one that just sold. Her family developed the house on speculation.
