South Condos

Driving south along the Atlantic Ocean, just past the Estate Section (an approximately 10-minute drive from Worth Avenue), are the South Condos. The South Condo Area extends from the Estate Section to Manalapan. Low-rise condos line each side of the two-lane road with oceanfront condos to the east, and Intracoastal condos to the west.

Oceanfront buildings are on the beach, while Intracoastal buildings often have a deeded beach path across the street. Ocean views, and specifically direct ocean views are highly coveted, and generally, command a premium price.

Though the South Condo area residences are further from Town, they often have larger floor plans, expansive views, deeded beach, amenities such as tennis, and are significantly less expensive than In-Town condos, with two bedrooms condos starting at around $200,000.

Other features of this area include walking and bike paths along the Intracoastal, beachside shopping center, two public beaches with ocean side cafes and restaurants, ocean side parks and public tennis courts, newly renovated seaside golf course, South Beach style nightlife at the Brazilian Court's new beachside hotel, and the luxurious spa services at the Ritz Hotel.

And of course, the Town of Palm Beach 10 minutes away.
